After graduating from West Point, Dan embarked on a distinguished military career. I have had the privilege of listening to some of the stories of his from this particular period, and they paint a photograph of a man who led with courage and compassion in the most challenging circumstances. He served a number of tours in Afghanistan and Iraq as an intelligence officer and helicopter pilot. Dan's academic journey led him to West Point, exactly where he graduated with honors.

It is apparent that those years had been formative, cementing his determination to helping the united states of his. All Dan said was that he would explore it and "see what may be done".

Dan's professional everyday living beyond the army is every bit as extraordinary. He's been effective as a company strategist, assisting organizations tackle challenging challenges. In the considerations of ours relating to this portion of his job, I've been satisfied by his ability to use the strategic thinking honed in the army to civilian sector problems. I am proud to live in a spot which is leading the way in which in the use of these established methods.
